If you come across an article that is not available in our library, google the title of the article followed by PDF. There's a 40-50% chance the article is available as a free, full text download on ResearchGate or a digital repository.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Access materials not available in our collection through Interlibrary Loan services.
Processing Times:
- Articles: 24 - 72 business hours.
- Books: 1 - 2 weeks (depends on shipping distance).
- ILL requests require librarian processing; requests made when library staff are unavailable will be processed upon return.
Common ILL Issues
- Publisher Embargos: Recent articles may have access restrictions lasting months to over a year.
- Limited Availability: Some specialized veterinary journals aren't widely held in U.S. libraries.
- Delivery Methods: Articles are sent via email (PDF) or secure link; books are available for pickup at the library.
