FAQs

Can I buy books from the Library?

No, you can purchase your required textbooks from the NEIT bookstore (401) 739-5000 Ext. 3427.

Do you have a copy of the textbook I need for my class?

Possibly, you can search the catalog to see if we have the book you need. Often textbooks are kept on Reserve in the library. This means it cannot leave the library but you are welcome to read it in the library, take photos, make copies, etc. 

 If you see this symbol in the catalog, the book is on Reserve.

Where can I get help with my classes?

The Academic Skills Center offers tutoring in writing, reading, research, oral communications, study skills, math, science, and physics.  The Writing Center is available to assist students with writing assignments.

How do I cite my sources?

APA is the style format chosen by NEIT to be the standard for writing a college paper.
