IGDA is the world’s largest nonprofit membership organization serving all individuals who create games.

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) brings the game development community together to exchange ideas, solve problems, and shape the future of the industry across five days of education, inspiration, and networking.

In 2019, Rigs of Color was envisioned to combat the limited and false representation of ethic identities in 3D animated mediums. The long-term goal of the project is to create 1,000 characters of color and change the expectations on what a good rig should be able to do.
