This EBSCOhost database is a trusted source and recognized standard for patient drug information, available in both English and Spanish. It includes more than a thousand drug information monographs written in lay language for consumers. Content is updated monthly.
► CINAHL Complete
This EBSCOhost database is the world’s most comprehensive source of full-text for nursing & allied health journals, providing full text for more than 1,300 journals indexed in CINAHL. This authoritative file contains full text for many of the most used journals in the CINAHL index, with no embargo. CINAHL®Complete is the definitive research tool for all areas of nursing & allied health literature.
► Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials
This EBSCOhost database, part of The Cochrane Library, is a bibliography of controlled trials identified by contributors to the Cochrane Collaboration and others, as part of an international effort to hand search the world's journals and create an unbiased source of data for systematic reviews.
► Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews
This EBSCOhost database, part of The Cochrane Library, contains full text articles, as well as protocols focusing on the effects of healthcare. Data is evidence-based medicine and is often combined statistically (with meta-analysis) to increase the power of the findings of numerous studies, each too small to produce reliable results individually.
► Cochrane Methodology Register
This is an EBSCOhost database, part of The Cochrane Library. The CMR is a bibliography of publications which report on methods used in the conduct of controlled trials. It includes journal articles, books and conference proceedings; these articles are taken from the MEDLINE database and from hand searches. The database contains studies of methods used in reviews and more general methodological studies which could be relevant to anyone preparing systematic reviews. CMR records contain the title of the article, information on where it was published (bibliographic details), and in some cases, a summary of the article. CMR is produced by the UK Cochrane Centre, on behalf of the Cochrane Methodology Review Group.

This EBSCOhost database is the single-most comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health content. Designed to support the information needs of patients, the CHC provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. Contains the full text for more than 250 health reference books and encyclopedias, evidence-based health reports, images and diagrams, physician-generated videos on an array of topics, more than 2,000 Health Daily videos from NBC Digital Health Network, Full-text consumer health pamphlets and leaflets, and animations with audio narration.
► Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects
DARE, an EBSCOhost database that is part of The Cochrane Library, includes abstracts of published systematic reviews on the effects of health care from around the world, which have been critically analyzed according to a high standard of criteria. This database provides access to quality reviews in subjects for which a Cochrane review may not yet exist.
► Health Source - Consumer Edition
This EBSCOhost database is the richest collection of consumer health information available to libraries worldwide, providing information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. Health Source: Consumer Edition provides access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines.
► Health Source - Nursing/Academic Edition
This EBSCOhost database provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features the AHFS Consumer Medication Information, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.
► Health Technology Assessments
HTA, an EBSCOhost database that is part of The Cochrane Library, provides details of completed and ongoing health technology assessments (studies of the medical, social, ethical and economic implications of healthcare interventions) from around the world. The aim of the database is to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of health care. In addition to systematic reviews, HTA contains ongoing and completed research based on trials, questionnaires and economic evaluations.

The ICE Video Library, from the ICE Learning Center, provides excellent visual resources to both faculty and students in physical and occupational therapy curriculum. With unlimited access to streaming videos of real-life patient assessment and intervention, the ICE Video Library can be viewed on campus, at home, on the go and in online courses! All of the videos are professionally filmed with actual patients and therapists in real-life treatment settings including acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health and ICU. (ICE stands for International Clinical Educators, Inc.)
MEDLINE, available from EBSCOhost, provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 5,400 current biomedical journals.
► NHS Economic Evaluation Database
This EBSCOhost database, part of The Cochrane Library, assists decision-makers in the world of professional health care by providing information on the costs and effects of drugs, treatments and procedures. Economic evaluations - the cost-benefit analysis of two or more different medical treatments - from around the world are systematically identified, described and appraised for quality while their relative strengths and weaknesses are explored and highlighted. The database contains over 6,000 abstracts of quality-assessed economic evaluations and more than 21,000 total records. NHS EED is produced by the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD) at the University of York, UK.

The SMART Imagebase, from EBSCOhost, enables you to download thousands of medical illustrations, videos, interactive tools, and monographs of anatomy, physiology, embryology, surgery, trauma, pathology, diseases, conditions and other topics. Search the database or browse by content, body systems/regions or medical specialties.
This online, interactive tool from SLACK Incorporated, a health care publisher, contains videos that show the application of each test, with narration, study quizes and glossary of terms. The Library subscribes to the following tutorials: Manual Muscle Testing: An Online Tutorial / Marcia Epler, PhD PT ATC; Susan Wainwright, MPT BS. Covers over 60 different movements demonstating both dynamic and break testing. Lists muscles and innervations for each movement; discusses proper examiner and patient positions and muscle grading scales. Gait: An Online Tutorial / Glenn Brown, MMSc PT SCS ATC. Covers both the Traditional and Ranco methods. Contains detailed description and demonstration of each phase of the gait cycle including kinematic and muscle activity. This comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text EBSCOhost database provides Full text for more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format.
► MasterFILE Premier
This multidisciplinary EBSCOhost database was designed specifically for public libraries. It provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full text information dating as far back as 1975.
