♦ The designer’s guide to color combinations [electronic resource] : includes the designer's guide to global color.
Media (DVD) NC997 .D37 2002
Leslie Cabarga took all the color swatches from his two books, The designer's guide to color combinations (that shows historical colors), and The designer's guide to global color combinations (that shows color from around the world) and put them into one CD-ROM. These books were the first color books to not only provide color swatches in context, but to supply the CMYK and RGB color formulas so readers could re-create them for use in their own print or web designs. The first book provides 500 historic color combinations from the Victorian, Art Deco, Atomic 50s, Psychedelic 60s, and current periods. The second book provides 750 combinations from Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, and Far East, as well as the USA. All 1250 color swatch sets are included in this CD-ROM in RGM and CMYK vector and bitmap files for you to use in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop formats. The CD-ROM can be used in conjunction with the books or files can be opened at random.
