♦ All New England Institute of Technology [NEIT] graduates and faculty and staff of Consortium of Rhode Island Academic and Research Libraries (CRIARL) member libraries are welcome to visit the Library and take advantage of the print and non-print collections and online databases during the regular hours the Library is open.
♦ Books may be borrowed by any NEIT graduate who fills out an Application for Special Borrowing Privileges and presents a valid ID with current address (driver's license). Faculty and staff of CRIARL member libraries must present a CRIARL library card and fill out an Application for Special Borrowing Privileges.
♦ Borrowing privileges are good for one year and may be renewed upon good standing.
♦ A special borrower's card must be presented for all borrowing transactions. Supplemental ID (picture ID/driver's license) may also be required.
♦ Loan period is 3 weeks. Books can be renewed once unless requested by another patron. Books can be renewed in one of three ways: 1) in person, 2) by telephone [401-739-5000, ext. 3409], or 3) online -- requires an ID and PIN set up at the Circulation Desk.
♦ Books for loan are limited to the circulating collections (Low Stacks, Tall Stacks and Oversize). Special borrowers may borrow up to 2 books at one time.
♦ Reference materials, periodicals and media do not circulate and are limited to in-house use only.
♦ Interlibrary loan is available to special borrowers through their college, university, or public library.
♦ The Library is open to the public. All non-circulating materials are limited to in-house use only.
